The Next Chapter for Guru
Guru is evolving — a new era of delegated fund management begins.
Guru started with a simple idea: that DeFi could be serious infrastructure without taking itself too seriously.
At its core, Guru is a delegated fund management protocol — a way for traders and strategists (“Gurus”) to manage capital on-chain for their investors. When they make profits, they earn a share. It’s transparent, aligned, and built around real incentives.
We began building long before the token launched — line by line, with a small team and big conviction. Guru was bootstrapped without VC funding, providing only about 2 ETH of starting liquidity for Uniswap LP. Since then, Guru has grown into a living ecosystem, reaching an ATH of over $2 million in platform TVL, supported by a community that believed in what we were building.
There have certainly been hard stretches, but we are still here.
Now, it’s time to level up.
.: Why We Built Guru
When we first looked at the DeFi landscape, we saw an opportunity, and a gap. In other financial models (Forex, in this case), there were proven, battle-tested methods of delegated trade management that had yet to be implemented in defi.
We wanted to fix that.
Guru was built to make delegated fund management simple, transparent, and accessible. To give skilled managers real ownership over their work — and investors the ability to allocate with confidence.
No off-chain deals, no middlemen, no confusion. Just clean, transparent, on-chain mechanics that make it easy for talent to shine and communities to grow.
.: Platform Growth and Performance
Behind every new feature is a year of real-world data and user behavior that shaped where Guru is headed.
Our early community of Gurus and investors tested dozens of on-chain strategies, helping us refine how performance and transparency should work in a decentralized environment.
To date, Guru has:
Facilitated over $2 million in managed assets across user-created funds
Processed thousands of profit-sharing transactions directly through the protocol
Supported a growing network of fund managers who’ve proven that aligned incentives can work entirely on-chain
We’ve also built a deep analytics layer that tracks performance across funds, strategies, and time horizons. These insights are now forming the backbone of the new Guru Dashboard, giving users the kind of visibility and control they’ve been waiting for.
Guru's beta phase has successful proven the concept and the demand for the product.
.: Evolving Without Losing Our Spirit
Over the past year, Guru has gone through constant experimentation and growth. We’ve tested ideas, refined the design, and learned what people really want from a decentralized fund platform.
The memes and irreverence were never the whole story — they were how we kept things fun while building serious tools.
This next phase is about growing up. A clearer identity, stronger features, and a tighter focus — while keeping the same soul that made Guru different.
.: What’s Coming
⚡️ P2P
During our beta phase, it was discovered that our Gurus had difficulties liquidating large positions without causing a panic. By adding P2P, we are giving our Gurus an outlet to liquidate fund tokens back to native currency without damaging project charts. This will be a major addition to the Guru toolbag.
📊 Guru Dashboard
All your data, strategies, and fund metrics in one clean interface. The new Dashboard makes it easy to track, compare, and manage funds in real time. Think of it as a battle station only visible to Gurus.
🧱 Whitelabel
We’re opening the door for others to build on top of Guru. Launch your own fund platform using the same infrastructure that powers ours — your brand, your users, your rules.
🌸 Lotus
Our biggest technical upgrade yet. Lotus rebuilds Guru from the ground up for speed, modularity, and scalability. It sets the stage for deeper integrations and better performance across the board. Lotus includes some very unique additions to the platform which are sure to set us apart in the fund management space.
.: Still Guru
With our rebrand, we are not leaving behind what made us who we are. The memes, the community, the culture — that’s still Guru.
But we’re building on top of that now. Guru is becoming a platform that serious fund managers and investors can rely on — while still keeping the openness and creativity that got us here.
This is what growth looks like: not a reset, just evolution.
.: What’s Next
Over the coming months, we’ll roll out the new branding, updated UI, and new features such as the Guru Dashboard, P2P, heading towards Lotus.
It’s been a wild year — from early experiments and Telegram memes to a platform managing millions on-chain. We’ve learned a lot, and we’re ready for what’s next.
Guru is growing up. Stay tuned — this is just the beginning.
